VEG_JOBLOG_ARCHIVE_DEL - Job Log Archiving: Execute Delete Program

Purpose

This report is an example to show the working of archive delete action of job log monitor tables (VEG_JOBLOG and VEG_JOB_DETAIL). Based on this selection, all the job IDs are deleted from the database.

VEG_JOBLOG table contains the job IDs created in SAP 3D Visual Enterprise Generator for conversion.

VEG_JOB_DETAIL table contains multiple documents associated with a job ID for multiple conversion.

If a job ID for multiple conversion is deleted from the VEG_JOBLOG table, all the entries existing for this job ID in the VEG_JOB_DETAIL table are also deleted.

Integration

This report is referenced in the archive object VEG_JOB (you can check in transaction AOBJ).

There are three related reports assigned to the same Archive Object.

The other integrated reports with the object VEG_JOB are as follows:

• The VEG_JOBLOG_ARCHIVE_WRITE report writes job log entries into the archived files.

• The VEG_JOBLOG_ARCHIVE_READ report reads job log entries from an archive session or file.

Prerequisites

You have maintained the Customizing settings for archiving object VEG_JOB (you can check in transaction AOBJ).

Features

Selection

You can start the report in the following modes:

• Test mode: The job log entries that are subjected for archiving are only counted and reported to the user.

• Productive mode: The job log entries that are subjected for archiving are in actual deletion mode from the database.

Standard Variants

Output

Result of deleted job log entries are displayed.
