/AIN/PUB_POBJ_LOCK - Lock Physical Object
SUBST_MERGE_LIST - merge external lists to one complete list with #if... logic for R3up TXBHW - Original Tax Base Amount in Local CurrencyThis documentation is copyright by SAP AG.
Functionality
This service enables a calling application such as an activity, user interface, or custom application to issue an application lock on physical objects in SAP Auto-ID Infrastructure (SAP AII).
You can use this service to ensure data integrity in SAP AII by physical objects before allowing them to be updated. Before calling an "update" service, the calling party should use this service to lock the physical objects to be updated. If they cannot be locked, then you should not call the update service.
The physical object's external ID is the input parameter for this service.
Example
Notes
This core service documentation is intended for technical developers and implementation consultants. For information about the individual parameters, see the SAP AII system documentation for parameters.
Message Handling
Messages generated by the services are not stored in any application log. It is the responsibility of the calling application to store the application log entries in the relevant application log objects. All the messages that are generated during the service call are returned to the calling application.
Interaction with POBJ Unlock Service
Every lock created by this service remains in effect until you unlock it by calling the physical object (POBJ) unlock service or until a database commit or rollback occurs.
