Functionality

You use this function module to execute the Change Fund Allocation Key business transaction.

You can change the fund allocation key of the regular premium on the chosen effective date.

The following parameters are now obsolete:

  • IT_MOD_ASFUN
  • IT_MOD_ASFUN_FM
  • IT_DEL_ASFUN

To assign a new fund range with a default fund allocation, use input parameter IT_MOD_COV to enter the new fund range. The system overwrites the current fund range with the new fund range.

To change the fund allocation of the current fund range, use input parameter IT_ADD_ASFUN to enter the new fund allocation key. The system overwrites the current fund allocation key with the new fund allocation key.

To assign a new fund range with another fund allocation as the default fund allocation, use input parameter IT_MOD_COV to enter the new fund range, and input parameter IT_ADD_ASFUN to enter the fund allocation.

For parameters IT_ADD_ASFUN and IT_ADD_ASFUN_FM, the entry for the premium ID (PREMIUM_ID field) is checked as follows:

  • If the premium ID does not exist in the processed coverage, an error message is displayed and the RFC will not be executed.
  • If the corresponding premium type of the premium ID is neither a recurring premium nor a single premium, an error message is displayed and the RFC will not be executed.
  • If the premium ID exists, and it is either a recurring premium or a single premum, the RFC will be executed.
  • If the premium ID is initial, the RFC will be executed and the premium type (recurring premium or single premium) will be derived.
SAP recommends leaving the PREMIUM_ID field initial.
