Functionality
Transferred orders are created using mid-point scheduling. That is, the activity on the planning segment (line) is scheduled via the predefined time and the dates of the other activities on the other lines of the line network are then calculated using the relationship information in iPPE Line Design and the takts maintained are muliplied by the takt time on each line.
Prerequisites for creating orders using this API are:
- Location
- iPPE Line, line network or group of alternative lines
- A resource for every line
- Product variants
- iPPE access objects maintained for the product variants for the iPPE nodes (component: LINE) in the table IT_ORDERS.

Notes
If no strategy profile is defined specifically, the system automatically uses the standard entry defined for the BAPI application in PP/DS Customizing "Maintain Global Parameters and Default Values".
