Functionality

You use this function module to delete county data from the address database for Turkey. The function module deletes entries from the address database according to the data that you specify in the IV_SPRAS importing parameter as follows:

  • If you specify a language key, the function module deletes the county name from the /SAPCE/IUTR_COUT table in the specified language
  • If you do not specify a language key, the system deletes the county entry from the /SAPCE/IUTR_COU table, as well as the county name from the /SAPCE/IUTR_COUT table in all languages.
Note
The system cannot delete a county entry if any of the following address elements are assigned to it:
  • Municipality/village

  • Township

  • District

  • Street

The return value of the EV_DB_UPDATE export parameter indicates whether the function module has run successfully:

  • 'X' ,,Successful run
  • No value,,No entries have been deleted from the address database
