Functionality

Using this function module, you can execute a task that documents a telephone call in an R/3 notification.

You can record the following information in a dialog box:

  • Date of conversation (the system proposes the current date and time for the start and end times)
  • Calling party/receiving party (the system proposes the current user as the calling party; you can select the receiving party from the list of partners assigned to the notification using the F4 help)
  • Status of call
  • Subject of conversation

The function for recording the subject of conversation text is implemented through an OCX text control.

Notes

Your entries are recorded in the task's long text field. The system also records the start and end times in the task's Execution block and the task status in the short text field.
