Functionality

This module is only a sample for the interface and structure of search help exits in search helps.

All of the defined interface parameters are obligatory for a function module that is to serve as a search help exit, because the initiator of the module does not know which parameters are really used internally.

A search help exit is called up at various STEPS during the F4 run. Each step in the run is specified in CALLCONTROL-STEP. If the module only wants to make a few modificatons before the step, then CALLCONTROL-STEP should remain unchanged.

If the step is controlled completely by the module however, then the next step must be returned in CALLCONTROL-STEP.

See the detailed documentation about search help exits.

The module must react with an immediate EXIT to all steps that it does not recognize or does not want to process.
