/XLSO/FORGET_USER_OR_PASSWORD - Forget Username

Functionality

This function module (FM) is used to retrieve username and password when the user forgets his/her username or password.

The FM takes two input parameters:

• Email: email ID of the user.

• Required Parameter: takes value 1 or 2; where 1 denotes forgot username, and 2 denotes forgot password.

If the user has forgotten his/her username and provides his email ID, then his/her username is retrieved with the help of the email ID passed and sent to the user's email ID.

If the user has forgotten his/her password, then his/her user details are retrieved with the help of the email ID passed and a password is generated. The new password is sent to the user's email ID given in the profile maintained.
