Functionality

This function module (FM) is used to change the user password. The user sends the username with old password and new password. The FM SUSR_USER_CHANGE_PASSWORD_RFC changes the old password with the new password according to the password rules.

This FM takes the following input parameters:

  • IV_BNAME: username
  • IV_PASSWORD: old password
  • IV_NEW_PASSWORD: new password of the user

It returns the following parameters:

  • EV_PWD_CHANGE_SSO: behavior in the case of forced password change (SSO Logon)
  • EV_RETURN: execution result
