API_S2K_IP_PART_READ - Read a part from Initial Provisioning Database

Functionality

You can read the information about a particular Part from the Initial Provisioning database. This data includes long text for Parts & Suppliers, Price Breaks, Locations, Suppliers, Procurement & Procurement Technical Data, Effectivities, Interchangeability - Replacing & Replaced Parts, Extension Structure - for additional user inclusions.

Import Parameters:

• I_SQNBR: Sequence Number

• I_PNR: Part Number

• I_MFR: Manufacturer Code

• I_EIP: End Item Part Number

• I_EIM End Item: Manufacturer Code

• I_READ_SUPPLIERS: Flag marked to read Suppliers under the part

• I_READ_LOCATIONS: Flag marked to read Locations under the part

Export Parameters:

• ES_SPCIPPDR: The Spare/End Item Part information is provided

• E_PART_DELETED: Flag indicationg the part was already deleted

• E_CALL_PARAMETERS_INCORRECT: Flag is set when the Call Parameters incorrect

• E_PART_DOES_NOT_EXIST: Part does not exist

Example

Notes

The default value for I_EIP and I_EIM is SPACE.

The default value for I_READ_SUPPLIERS and I_READ_LOCATIONS is 'X' that is it should by default be read.
