API_SD_CUSTMAT_CREATE - SD MD: API to Create Customer Material Records

Functionality

This function module can be used to import customer material data created externally into an SAP S/4HANA system.

The function module validates the imported customer material data, saves the records to the database, and returns any messages.

Example

This function module is called by the Customer Material migration object found under Migrate Your Data in the Manage Your Solutionapp. The migration object requires an upload of customer material data in a *.csv file.

The migration object parses the customer material data included in the *.csv file according to the parameters of the API_SD_CUSTMAT_CREATEfunction module.
