ARCHIVE_PROTOCOL_GET - Special Function: Demand Object Log in Compressed Format (XSTRING)

Functionality

This function module is a special function that is needed only in exceptional situations.

After initialization of the log (ARCHIVE_PROTOCOL_INIT) and the transfer of all notifications (ARCHIVE_PROTOCOL_COLLECT) you can use this function module to read the notifications collected in the current program to then transfer them to the log of the program in which the log is to be output. Consequently, the log is not output in the current program and you must not call the function module ARCHIVE_PROTOCOL_WRITE in this program.

This enables you to read notifications that were, for example, collected in asynchronous RFC processing and then transfer them to the calling program.
