ASSORTMENT_HEAD_HANDLING - Create / Change / Delete Assortment Header

The function module allows processing of header data for a module. All dependent items are adjusted accordingly. In the case of modules already assigned to stores, all subsequent objects are also adjusted (MARC, WLK1 etc.).

The following functions are possible (parameter FUNCTION):
Fnct. Meaning Subsequent processes / Checks

'1' Create - Check object does not exist
- Check minimum data (text, date from...to)
- Get internal number if blank (always immediately)
- Updat to database (WSOH / WSOT)
'2' Change - Only for NBAU / ABAU / EXCL / LOKAL (except
description)
- Check object exists
- Check consistency of change data:
- Valid from:
All items are changed if their From date is
lower than the new date and the material
validity permits this.
Case a: No assignments to stores
Conditions: > SY-DATUM
< valid to
Case b: Assignments to stores exist
--> initially no change permitted.
Later: Conditions: > SY-DATUM
> valid to
- Valid to:
All items are changed if the To date is greater
than the new value
Case a: No assignments to stores
Conditions: > SY-DATUM

Case b: Assignments to stores exist
--> initially no change permitted

Reduction in validity:
- Materials whose From date is
greater than the new date are
excluded
Increase in validity
- No problems
- Priority:
increase : always
reduce: but items with > are limited to the
new priority
'3' Delete Header and all items are set as LVORM = 'X' and
date = SY-DATUM.
