BAPI_ADDREMPES_CREATESUCCESSOR - Personnel number next record create

Functionality

With this method, you can create a new record for the infotype Addresses (0006).

Example:

An employee has been updated in infotype Addresses (0006) in the following address : A Street, A city, during the validity period from 1 January 1990 - 31 December 1999.

The employee moved out on 1 January 1997. The new address: B Street, B city.

With the method CREATESUCCESSOR, you can create a new record with the new address. This new record is filled in with the old record and only the fields House number and Street are filled in with the new information.

The old information will be delimited from 31 December 1996.

Notes

Notifications will be assigned in parametre RETURN. In the parametre documentation, you can find the return value and its descriptions.

The key fields used by the method are described in parametre.

This method can only be used if the business object ENQUEUE method EMPLOYEE is called. Further information on the ENQUEUE method can be found in the function module documentation.
