Functionality

You use this method to assign the data for a confirmation to a maintenance/service order in the CONFDETAIL parameter.

Goods movements that are posted along with the confirmation are also assigned. You should distinguish between successfully posted goods movements in the GOODSMOVEMENTS table and incorrect goods movements in the FAILEDGMOVES table, that are still ready for postprocessing using the COGI transaction.

Authorization check

The authorization object C_AFRU_AWK with activity 03 (display) and the order type and plant for the confirmed maintenance or service order are checked.

Parameter

  • Confirmation
The CONFIRMATION parameter contains the confirmation number which uniquely identifies the confirmed object.
  • ConfirmationCounter
The CONFIRMATIONCOUNTER, together with the CONFIRMATION parameter, represents the unique identification for the individual confirmation.
  • Return
If the confirmation data could not be assigned due to an error, the RETURN parameter provides information on the error that occurred.
  • ConfDetail
The CONFDETAIL parameter contains the confirmation data for the selected confirmation.
  • Goodsmovements
The optional GOODSMOVEMENTS table contains the goods movements for the confirmation that have been successfully posted. This can be goods receipt and goods issue items from several material documents.
  • Failedgmoves
The optional FAILEDGMOVES table contains the goods movements for confirmation that could not be successfully posted due to an error. These are still to be processed using the COGItransaction.
