BAPI_APOPAL_DELETE - Delete Product Allocation Data
ROGBILLS - Synchronize billing plans ROGBILLS - Synchronize billing plansThis documentation is copyright by SAP AG.
Functionality
This method is used for deleting product allocation data from the global availability check.
You can delete the following product allocation data with this method:
- Characteristics combinations
- You delete characteristics combinations by specifying these in the interface of the Business Application Programming Interface (BAPI).
- When you delete characteristics combinations, the system then also deletes all the corresponding time series and product allocation assignments.
- Time series
- You delete time series by specifying the characteristics combinations and the period within which the time series are deleted in the BAPI interface. Be aware that for consistency reasons the system also deletes product allocation assignments when deleting time series.
- You can delete time series without deleting the characteristics combinations.
- Direct Connection to the Planning Area
- If you have set a direct connection to the planning area, the system does not delete the data in Demand Planning (it does delete the characteristics combinations of the product allocation groups, but not the time series and planning objects from Demand Planning). You can therefore no longer carry out a product allocation check for this data. However, the planning data is still kept.
Prerequisite
To be able to use this method, you must make all the Customizing settings for product allocation. For more information, see the Implementation Guide (IMG) for SAP APO under Global Available-to-Promise -> Product Allocation.
