Functionality
You can use BAPI_BUPR_ACTIVITYP_CHANGE to change the validity period of an activity partner relationship. Depending on the time constraint settings for the activity partner relationship category, you must consider the following: If there is no time constraint, you do not need to maintain a period with this BAPI.
The following settings apply:
- There must be no gaps in the record, there must be no duplicate settings for periods
- Record may have gaps, but no duplicate settings are permitted
- A record may exist just once in the from date/to date period
- When you change the validity period, the system checks the entries made in the interface against the time constraint settings. Any errors that occur are logged, and output in the RETURN table. If errors occur, no intervals are maintained.
