Functionality

Delete a network (BOR object BUS2002).

Example

The network to be deleted is transferred to parameter I_NETWORK.

Messages from the application and a success or failure message, as appropriate, are returned to the caller by the BAPI in the multiline parameter RETURN.

Only one network can be processed each time the BAPI is called.

Before the network is deleted, various checks are carried out, for example:

1. Has the network already been released or partially released?
2. Deletion authorization
3. Are there already actual postings for assignment objects?

If all checks are successful, the network and all its subobjects such as network activities, activity elements, material components, milestones, and so on, are deleted.
