Functionality

You use this BAPI to move a task in a template (in parameter TASK_TMPL_GUID).

The superior project element of a task in a template can be a task in a template, a phase in a project template, the project definition of the project template, or a checklist item in a checklist template. However, a task below a project definition is not allowed to contain any subtasks. The required entry field IV_TARGET_GUID must contain the GUID of the superior project element to which the task is to be moved.

The task and its target object must be in the same main object (project template or checklist template). If this is not the case, both main objects are loaded in change mode; processing is terminated and the main objects remain loaded.

If moving the task in the template causes the superior object to change, the system deletes any existing relationships.

You can move tasks in a project template to below the following project elements:
