Functionality
You use this BAPI to change a project definition. If none of the indicators in the corresponding update structure IS_PROJECT_DEFINITION_UPD have been set, the system does not make any changes.
The PROJECT_DEFINITION_GUID required entry field must contain the GUID of the project definition that is to be changed.
The original language of a project cannot be changed. For this reason, the MASTER_LANGUAGE field of the import parameter IS_PROJECT_DEFINITIONis not relevant for this BAPI. It is ignored during BAPI execution.
The period type cannot be initialized if distributed values still exist in the project. Changing the period type causes all existing, distributed values in the project to be recalculated.
