BAPI_BUS2172_DELETE_ADMIN_AUTH - BAPI Project: Delete Administration Authorization for Current BAPI User

Functionality

You use this BAPI to delete the current user as the administrator in the project definition. However, this is only possible if at least one other user has administrative rights.

Unlike in the dialog, when you create a project, the system uses a general BAPI or RFC user. This user should create the project with one BAPI, but the user should not be the administrator. Therefore, the BAPI method SetAuthorization makes it possible to name a second user as the administrator at first, and then delete the general BAPI or RFC user afterwards using the DeleteAdminAuth method.

Note that once the general BAPI or RFC user has been deleted it will not have any more authorizations for the project (unless this user still has authorization to work in the project due to a user group, organizational unit, or role). Therefore, it may be better to delete the general user only once the BAPI processing has finished.
