Functionality
You use this BAPI to create a phase. If the data structure IS_PHASE is not used or if all indicators in the corresponding update structure IS_PHASE_UPD are initial, the phase can only be created if all the required fields contain default values.
The superior object of a phase is a project definition. Therefore, the IV_PARENT_GUID required entry field must contain the GUID of the appropriate project definition for which the phase is to be created.
