Functionality

You use this BAPI to move a task (in the TASK_GUID parameter).

The superior project element of a task can be a task, a phase, the project definition, or a checklist item.

A task below a project definition cannot contain any subtasks.

The IV_TARGET_GUID required entry field must contain the GUID of the superior project element below which the task is to be moved to.

 

The task and its target object must be in the same project definition. If this is not the case, the system loads both project definitions in change mode. Processing is then cancelled and the project definitions remain loaded.

If you move the task in such a way that the superior object changes, the system deletes any relationships that currently exist.
