BAPI_CFG_READ - Returns external representation of configuration currently loaded

Functionality

This function module displays the current content of the configuration which is being processed.

To date, the function module returns only the values of the root instance.

The format in which the data is returned is almost identical with the format of the Idoc-segments for representing a configuration. It is also used as a basis for copying configuration data of an order item for the purpose of order/quotation entry via BAPI.

Notes

You cannot call this function module before you have created a configuration.

This function module does not complete configuration processing.
