BAPI_COST_ELEM_FIXACCOUNT_GET - Read Fixed Account Assignment for Company Code/Business Area/Cost Element

Functionality

This method supplies the account assignment stored in Customizing for CO (that is, a cost center and/or overhead order) for a given combination of company code, business area, and cost element.

If no controlling area is assigned to the company code, the method does not provide a result. Since this a legitimate situation from a business perspective, no error message is issued.

If no account assignment is specified in Customizing for CO at the level of the company code, business area, and cost element, the system returns an account assignment at the company code and cost element level.

If no account assignment is stored at the level of the company code and cost element, the system returns an "E" in the Type field of the RETURN structure.
