BAPI_FLCUST_CHECKPASSWORD - Check Internet password

Functionality

The business object customer offers functions that manage customer access to Internet applications (for example, from a travel agency). To make Internet applications easier to use, customers have the option of selecting a personal web user name. The web user name, together with a password, is needed to log on to the Internet application.

This method is used to manage Internet authorizations for customers.

You can use this method to check whether a flight customer is registered as a Web customer and whether the specified password is correct.

Notes

This method is only used in the flight data model for demonstration and training purposes. It is not intended for production use. Unlike the BAPI concept, we cannot guarantee its stability.

Authorization object S_FLBOOK with activity 03 (display) is checked.

The customer can be identified by a customer number (Customer parameter) or a web user name (WebUser parameter). (If both parameters are filled, Customer is used and WebUser ignored.)

You can use the FlightCustomer.EnableWebUse method to create an Internet user for a flight customer. You can use the FlightCustomer.ChangePassword method to change the password of a customer.

Return Codes

Messages are returned in the Return parameter. The parameter documentation shows the return codes and their meanings.
