BAPI_FLIGHT_GETDETAIL - Find details about a flight

Functionality

This method allows you to determine all available detailed information for a scheduled flight.

Notes

This method is only used in the flight data model for demonstration and training purposes. It is not intended for production use. Unlike the BAPI concept, we cannot guarantee its stability.

The authorization object F_SLBOOK with activity 03 (display) is checked.

The individual flight is identified with the AirlineID, ConnectionIDand FlightDate parameters.

If the values of this parameter are unknown, use the relevant GetList method to determine them.

Customer Enhancements

The BAPI customer enhancement concept allows customers to include additional data that is not anticipated by the interface.

The ExtensionIn and ExtensionOut parameters are data containers, in which the additional values are sent during import or export.

As well as the extension parameters in the interface, the BAPI function module also includes BAdIs (Business Add-Ins) or customer exits. These check the data sent by you to the method, and also perform additional functions.

Return Codes

Messages are returned in the Return parameter. The parameter documentation shows the return codes and their meanings.
