BAPI_FSH_VAR_CONDREC_CREATE - BAPI to Create Condition Records for Application Variants

Functionality

You use this function module to restrict the usage of variants for sales or purchasing application by creating a condition record.

For a generic article T-shirt of color black, you have the sizes Small (S), Medium (M), Large (L), and Extra Large (XL). You do not want to sell the sizes S and XL for a particular sales area and for a required time period. Using sales application variants, you can select and activate only those variants (sizes) that need to be sold in greater quantities than the other available sizes. Therefore, the M and L sizes will be marked as sales variants.

1. Before you use this function module, you must make the following settings in Customization under SAP Fashion Management >> Application Variants >> Controls for Application Variants:

• Maintain Field Catalog

• Create Condition Tables

• Create Access Sequences

• Create Condition Types

• Create Determination Procedure

• Create Maintenance Group

• Define Maintenance Groups for Context

• Maintain Mapping Table for Field Catalog

1. You must also define number ranges for sales and purchase variants in Customizing under SAP Fashion Management >> Application Variants >> Number Ranges for Application Variants:

• Define Number Ranges for Sales Area

• Define Number Range for Purchasing Area

• Maintain Number Range Number for Sales Application

• Maintain Number Range Number for Purchasing Application

Maintain Condition Records for Sales and Purchasing Applications

You can use the parameters GROUPNAME, COND_TYPE, CONDRECHEADERS, and CONDRECITEMS to create condition records for sales and purchasing variants.

Input and Output Parameters

Input/Import Parameters

Enter the following input fields:

• GROUPNAME: Enter the group name for the sales (VAR_SD) or purchasing (VAR_MM) variant

• COND_TYPE: Enter the condition type of the sales and purchasing variant. You can create or define the condition types in Customizing under SAP Fashion Management > > Application Variants >> Controls for Application Variants >> Create Condition Tables.

• CONDRECHEADERS: Enter the header information such as access sequence, access ID, sales organization, material, distribution channel, and so on.

• CONDRECITEMS: Enter the variants for an article and activate the variants. You can then choose a core variant(s) for an article.

• EXTENSIONHDRIN: You can use this table to define user-specific input data.

Output/Export Parameters

The following output parameter is available:

• Return: Specifies the return messages.
