Functionality

This method lets you create an OTC interest rate derivative FRA.

The transferred data corresponds to the data in the online transaction under Structureand general business transaction data.

As in the online transaction, it is not possible to change, create or delete conditions or main flows. Additional flows can be changed using the relevant methods.

Example

Creating an FRAU with an additional flow using BAPIs:

First of all create the FRA by calling OTCInterestFRA.Create. To create the additional flow, call OTCInterestFRA. AddFlowCreate.

Notes

If you set the TESTRUNparameter this calls the BAPI in simulation mode.

To write the data to the database after running a BAPI call in an update run (TESTRUNinitial), a commit workmust be triggered, for example with BapiService.TransactionCommit.

Messages are returned in the RETURNparameter.

A transaction can only be created successfully if the transferred data meets the online transaction consistency conditions. In this case the COMPANYCODEand FINANCIALTRANSACTIONparameters are filled.

If the data is not consistent or complete it is rejected. In this case the RETURNparameter contains corresponding messages and the COMPANYCODEand FINANCIALTRANSACTIONparameters are initial.

Refer to the interface parameter documentation for information about the data, what is mandatory, optional or depends on the settings in Customizing, and what default settings exist.
