BAPI_FTR_FUTURE_SETTLE - Settle a Future

Functionality

This method lets you settle a future.

It only carries out the settlement. You can make additional changes to the transaction with Future.Change.

Notes

If you set the TESTRUNparameter this calls the BAPI in simulation mode.

To write the data to the database after running a BAPI call in an update run (TESTRUNinitial), a commit workmust be triggered, for example with BapiService.TransactionCommit.

Messages are returned in the RETURNparameter.

A transaction can only be settled successfully if the transferred data meets the online transaction consistency conditions. In this case the RETURNCOMPANYCODEand RETURNFINANCIALTRANSACTIONparameters are filled.

If the data is not consistent or complete it is rejected. In this case the RETURNparameter contains corresponding messages and the RETURNCOMPANYCODEand RETURNFINANCIALTRANSACTIONparameters are initial.
