BAPI_ISUSMNOTIF_CREATEMULTIPLE - Create service notifications

Functionality

This Business Application Programming Interface (BAPI) creates service notifications dependent on the notification codes specified in table NOTIFDATA. These service notifications can have different commercial characteristics.

You can also use this BAPI to create maintenance notifications for the utilities industry.

Example

Notifications for

• Replacing a device

• Disconnecting one or more devices of a customer with outstanding payments

• Repairing a defective transformer after a power failure

Notes

Notifications are returned in the RETURN parameter. The documentation for this parameter describes the return values and their meanings.

Further information

When you run the BAPI, an application log is created that contains the following information:

• Creation data

• Error messages

• Numbers of orders created

To evaluate this log, proceed as follows:

1. Call transaction SLG1.
2. Select object IUWMNOT and sub-object BAPI_CREATE_MULTIPLE.
