BAPI_KANBAN_CHANGESTATUS1 - Change Status of a Kanban

Functionality

This method carries out a status change for a kanban. Such a status change is used to trigger kanban replenishment or to post a goods receipt for a kanban.

The main input parameter is the kanban identity number. The status that the kanban is to be set to can be determined by the system or the user. Kanban ID number and status can be encrypted in a bar code, through which they can be identified.

COMMIT und ROLLBACK WORK : The function module does not execute a COMMIT WORK command. This must be done by the caller when the function module has finished running. A COMMIT WORK must be carried out every time the function module is called. This function module cannot be called a multiple number of times. If the function module encounters and error during processing, the command ROLLBACK WORK is executed in some cases. In these cases, the kanban is either set to error status, or an error message is returned in the RETURN parameter.
