BAPI_MDDATASET_SELECT_DATA - Executes the MDX Command

Functionality

This method executes an MDX command and the dataset that corresponds to the command (a multi-dimensional resulting quantity) is built.

As several MD_COMMAND objects can be processed in parallel in one session, input parameter DATASETID has to be set. A client application with function module MDDATASET_CREATE_OBJECT can create this kind of object handle. An MDX command must also be set before execution.

The client application can use the methods GetAxisInfo, GetAxisData and GetCellData to retrieve the resulting quantity.
