BAPI_MEDDOC_CREATE_LINK - IS-H*MED: Create Document Link

Functionality
You can use the method BAPI_MEDDOC_CREATE_LINK to create document links.
In IS-H*MED, only the document management data is created for document links, and the document is not saved in IS-H*MED tables. The document management data records where it was saved.
Transferring document links enables you to use IS-H*MED as a central document management system where all information for the patients is stored.
There are three ways to create a document link:
- Creating a link to an external document (ISHMED_LINK).
- Creating a link to an archived document (ARCHIVE_LINK).
- Creating a link to a document with a storage location specified by the SAP document management function (SAPSTORAGE).
If you select more than one option, the system will use the following priorities:
- Create link to an external document
- Create link to an archived document
- Store document using the SAP document management function
