BAPI_NETWORK_COMP_CHANGE - Change to BOR Object Network, Subobject Material Component Method

Functionality

The BAPI BAPI_NETWORK_COMP_CHANGE changes existing material components in the network (NUMBER). Therefore it is possible to change multiple network components belonging to the network object by calling one single time.

The BAPI can be called repeatedly, until a LUW is completed with the BAPI Commit Work.

You cannot change the procurement type. You cannot process

configurable materials

discontinued materials

alternative items.

Transfer

You should always specify the network NUMBER. The system transfers the component data to be changed to the table I_COMPONENTS_CHANGE.

It is not necessary to fill all component attributes if you want to change only a few values of an existing component and retain the remaining values.

In the update structure I_COMPONENTS_CHANGE_UPDATE you can specify the attributes whose values you want to change.

Return

In the return parameter RETURN you see an error message if an error occurs during processing.

After calling, you see the messages that were generated during processing in the table E_MESSAGE_TABLE.
