BAPI_OBJCL_GETOBJECTS - Classification BAPI: Find by Assignment

Function

This BAPI runs a search for classifications. The search parameters are class name, class type (ClassType), and classification status (Status, optional). The class name is entered in a range table (ClassNumRange), so complex queries are possible. Parameter MaxRows lets you limit the number of hits. The default value is 100.

The search result is returned in table AllocList. If the BAPI runs successfully, table RETURN contains no messages of type 'E'.

Caution

If Engineering Change Management is used, some classifications found may not be valid. In this case, a number of hits that is lower than the maximum does not mean that there are no more valid classifications.

This BAPI does not find classes.
