Functionality

You can use this method to create or change partner-dependent purchasing document data (stored in header table /SCMB/PRTPURDOCH and item table /SCMB/PRTPURDOC).

Notes

If the data record already exists for the partner product or category, it is changed; if it does not exist, it is created. Data is processed on header level and item level independently. We recommend not to create items without header. You use the associated X-tables (change tables) to specify which field values are to be adopted in the header or item table.

Customer Enhancements

The BAPI customer enhancement concept allows customers to include additional data that is not anticipated by the interface.

The ExtensionIn parameter is a data container, in which the additional values are sent during import.

As well as the extension parameters in the interface, the BAPI function module also includes BAdIs (Business Add-Ins) or customer exits. These check the data sent by you to the method, and also perform additional functions.

Return Messages

Messages are returned in the Return parameter. The parameter documentation shows the return codes and their meanings.
