BAPI_POSRVAPS_COMPLETEKEY - Assignment of External Keys to Internal Keys

Functionality

This method is used to assign an external order number from the OLTP System to an order created in the APO System in the operative plan version.

An item number and row number can also be assigned (in addition to the order number) if required. The order will consequently be displayed with these external keys in the APO System.
An item number and row number can only be assigned once to a schedule line (field SCHEDID) respectively. This can no longer be changed via a repeated assignment of another item number and row number.

If you are using this function for the first time, you can find detailed documentation in the following important information.

Example:

A local order (for example, purchase order) is created in the APO System by a user or a planning run. A connected OLTP System is informed of the order and creates a corresponding order with an internal number in the OLTP System. Using this method, it is possible to inform the APO System that the order newly created in APO is part of the external OLTP System. This is a result of the assignment to a logical system (LOGICAL_SYSTEM) of the OLTP System and to an external order number (item and line numbers are optional). At the same time the order receives a new OLTP order type, assigned by the OLTP System.

Notes

• Transaction behavior:
  Note that this function can automatically execute a a COMMIT WORK or ROLLBACK WORK, depending on the COMMIT_CONTROL parameter.

• Note that this function is only possible for orders in the operative plan version (000).
