Functionality

Using this method, you can read products for certain selection criteria.

Notes

You can choose from the following options for selecting products. Combinations between the alternatives are either not possible or are ignored by the system.

  • Selection by specifying GUIDs:
  • PRODUCT_GUIDS

  • LOCATION_PRODUCT_GUIDS

  • Selection using RANGES tables:
    You can use the following combinations for this purpose:
  • PRODUCT_SELECTION + LOCATION_SELECTION (optional) + LOCTYPE_SELECTION (optional)

  • LOCATION_SELECTION + LOCTYPE_SELECTION (optional)+ PRODUCT_SELECTION (optional)

  • Selection by means of explicit keys: If one of the subsequent tables is filled with tables, the system transfers this table.
  • PRODUCT_KEY

  • PROD_LOC_KEY

Please bear in mind, that the logical system (or the business systems group) must also be given for all selection variants.

Messages are returned in the Return parameter. The parameter documentation shows the return codes and their meanings.

Note:

  • When you make a selection using LOCATION_PRODUCT_GUID and the explict key PROD_LOC_KEY, only the location-dependent data is selected.
  • For other selection variants, however, both the global and location-dependent product data is selected.
