BAPI_RSSRVAPS_GETCAPAPRO - Read Resource Capacities
PERFORM Short Reference BAL Application Log DocumentationThis documentation is copyright by SAP AG.
Functionality
You can use this method to determine the capacity profile of a specified resource for a certain period.
A further option is to mix the scheduled breaks in the time stream of a resource with the capacity profile. For mixed resources you can choose whether the PP/DS view or the SNP view of the resource should be set as the basis for the calculation.
As an alternative to the selection period, a block number can be used as selection criteria.
If you are using this function for the first time, you can find detailed documentation in the following important information.
Notes
- The capacity profile of a resource is only ever stored for a set period of time in SAP APO. This
time is dependent upon the planning parameters of the resource. If a planning time period of 100 days
was specified for the resource, the capacity profile is only calculated a stored for 100 days in the
future. In this case, the "GetCapacityProfile" method only returns the detailed capacity profile for
this period of time (maximum of 100 days) even if a longer period of time has been entered in the selection parameters.
However, if capacities are reserved after this time period (for example, by resources), these are also returned.
- To be able to determine capacity data, you have to specify which capacity data should be read. To do this, use the GET* parameter (for example, GET_UNUSED_CAPA = 'X'). If an entry is not made, the method does not return any capacity data.
Messages are returned in the Return parameter. The parameter documentation shows the return codes and their meanings.
