BAPI_RSSRVAPS_SAVEDEFS - Create or Change Definitions

Functionality

With this method, you can create or change definitions (for example shift definitions). If the definition entered does not exist, it is newly created. If the defintion already exists, it is changed.

The definitions and fields used correspond to the master data maintenance of definitions in APO. Therefore, it is useful to read the documentation about master data maintenance before using the BAPIs.

If you are using this function for the first time, you can find detailed documentation under the following important information.

Notes

• Transaction behavior:
  Note that the method can automatically post data (COMMIT WORK) or discard data (ROLLBACK WORK), depending on the COMMIT_CONTROL parameter.

Messages are returned in the Return parameter. The parameter documentation shows the return codes and their meanings.
