BAPI_TPVSSRVAPS_ORDERUNPLAN - Deallocate Freight Units from Shipments

Functionality

You can use this method to deallocate freight units from shipments that have already been planned.

If all freight units are deallocated from a shipment, the shipment is deleted automatically.

For more information if you are using this function for the first time, see the important general information.

Example

Notes

• Note that freight units that have already been published or released may no longer be deallocated or changed.

• Transaction behavior:
  Note that the method can automatically post (COMMIT WORK) or discard (ROLLBACK WORK) data changes depending on the COMMIT_CONTROL parameter.

Freight units need to be deallocated from shipments in the following cases:

• The freight unit is already assigned to a shipment (it already contains transportation activities) but it needs to receive different transportation activities in another step.

• The freight unit is already assigned to a shipment but needs to be reassigned to a different shipment.

Messages are returned in the Return parameter. The parameter documentation shows the return codes and their meanings.
