BAPI_XBP_JOB_START_IMMEDIATELY - Start job immediately

Functionality

With this method, you execute a job in the R/3 background processing system. The method specifies that the job should be started immediately. If this is not possible (for example, if no background work processes are free at that time), the job is placed in a queue and is processed as soon as possible.

Alternative: Methode BackgroundJob.StartASAP. This method specifies that the job should be started immediately, however it also allows the job to be started later if it cannot be started immediately.

Before you can use this method, you must define the job with the methods BackgroundJob.Open and BackgroundJob.AddABAPStep or BackgroundJob.AddExternalStep and BackgroundJob.Close.
