Functionality

This function module uses the cash pooling-relevant hierarchy table to determine the root account for a transferred account on a posting date.

"On a posting date" means that this date is in the following time period:
from hierarchy from-date (included)
to hierarchy to-date (excluded)

If the transferred account is a root account on this date, this is returned.
