Functionality

This module is only intended as an example for the interface and for designing search help exits in search helps.

All interface parameters defined here are mandatory for a function module being used as search help exit, because the caller of the module does not know which parameters are actually used internally.

A search help exit is called at multiple timepoints during the F4 process flow. The respective step of the process flow is supplied in CALLCONTROL-STEP. If the module only wants to make a few modifications before the step, CALLCONTROL-STEP should remain unchanged.

However, if the module carries out the step completely, the following step must be returned in CALLCONTROL-STEP.

The module must respond to all steps it does not know or that it does not handle with an immediate EXIT.
