Functionality

This function module initializes the dialog box Find Substances for Which Changed Data Exists.... The file name (with path) of the file supplied by the content provider is selected in the File on Front End field in the dialog box. The file must be stored as a *.TXT file in the company directory. The system loads the *.TXT file into the program and the function module C1H0_SUB_FIND_BY_PRO_FILE compares the data in the *.TXT file with the data stored in the database.

The function module uses the following export parameters:

  • E_FLG_CANCEL: Has the value 'X' if the upload of the *.TXT was canceled
  • E_FLG_PARA_EXIST: Has the value 'X' if the *.TXT was successfully uploaded (without errors) into the program

Example

Notes

  • Do not change the name and interface of this function module.
  • The *.TXT file is loaded during the search only and is not stored in the SAP system.
  • The transfer format for the file is ASCII.
