CBIH_LB31_COMPUTE_RATING - EHS: User Exit - Calculate Rating

Functionality

This function module serves as a template for a calculation function with which you can determine the rating of an exposure in risk assessment when using the analysis method measured value-reference value comparison.

The function module is also available as a reference function module for the definition of the interface of the user exit category ANLS_RATCP.

Requirements

• The user exit category ANLS_RATCP must exist in Customizing for Basic Data and Tools under Manage User Exits and a function module must be assigned to it.

• The ratings you want to use must have been created in Customizing for Industrial Hygiene and Safety under Specify Measurement Items and Specify Exposure Ratings. Under Specify Exposure Ratings:

• The rating category 'LMT' (Measurement value - Reference value) must have been assigned to each rating.

• A threshold must have been specified for each rating (in percent).

Calculating the Rating

The function module first checks whether a threshold value was entered for the transferred agent and measured value in Customizing for Industrial Hygiene and Safety under Specify Measurement Items. If this is the case, the system checks whether the measured value is greater than or equal to the threshold value. If it is, the appropriate rating is output as the result of the calculation.

If the measured value is less than the smallest threshold value or no rating is available, the quotient is formed from the measured value and the reference value. This quotient is compared with the threshold that was entered in the activity Specify Exposure Ratings and the rating is determined in this way.

Note:

The module's logic determines the rating when the thresholds are exceeded.
