Functionality

This function module executes the standard checks with regard to only representative roles and importer data. These include:

  • Check of the validity of the specified regulation
  • Check of the validity of the specified material
  • Check if a regulation, a business partner, an only representative, and the corresponding validities are entered for each data record (required entry field check for only representative roles)
  • Check if a regulation, a business partner, an importer, and the corresponding validities are entered for each data record (required entry field check for importer data)
  • Check if only one only representative is entered for each data record (only the entry of an internal or external only representative is possible)
  • Check of the validity of the specified business partner
  • Check of the validity of the specified only representative
  • Check of the validity of the specified importer
  • Check if the validities of the corresponding only representative roles overlap (check for uniqueness: one business partner may utilize only one only representative per material)

Example

Notes

In the standard system, the function module is called from the BAdI method Validation of the Only Representative Data. This is called after you have entered either only representative roles in the transactions Only Representative: External Business Partners or Only Representative: Internal Business Partners, or importer data in the transaction Importer.
