CBRC_PUR_DATA_SEP_OR - Check: Import to EU (Purchase Order) and Only Representative Role

Functionality

This function module determines the country of origin or recipient country by calling the standard function module CBRC_PUR_DATA_SEP_BY_VA and checks whether there is an import to the validity area of the regulatory list in the current logistics document (purchase order or purchase requisition). An import to the validity area exists when the recipient country of the document is in the validity area and the country of origin is outside it.

When this function module is used in a scenario for data separation, only logistics documents for which an import to the validity area of the regulatory list exists are relevant for the regulatory list in this scenario. Other documents are not checked or tracked.

Furthermore, this function module checks whether a material-specific or a material-independent only representative is assigned to the corresponding supplier. If an only representative exists that was maintained via transaction Only Representative: External Business Partners or Only Representative: Internal Business Partners, the change variable X_PUPL_WA is initialized. As a result, the corresponding quantity is not tracked.
