CFX_API_DOC_STRUCTURE_WRITE - Change Bill of Material

Functionality

All data of the bill of material verison is changed.

Change current version:

If I_CHANGE_CURRENT_VERSION = 'yes', the contents of the current version is changed. The current version receives a new ID that is returned in E_DOC_VERSION_ID. If I_VERSION_NAME is initial, neither the name nor the description are changed. If I_VERSION_NAME is not initial, the name and the description are changed according to I_VERSION_NAME and I_VERSION_DESCRIPTION.

Create new version:

If I_CHANGE_CURRENT_VERSION = 'no', a new version is created whose ID is returned in E_DOC_VERSION_ID. If I_VERSION_NAME is initial or '*', the name of the version is selected by the system. If the last characters in I_VERSION_NAME is '*', the characters before this are used as the basis for the name and the star is replaced in such a way (for example, by numbers) that the document is given a unique name.

Tables

The tables in which information about BOM items are transferred contain the field Feld ITEM_ID. This specifies to which BOM item the values in the line of a table belong.
